In 2019, Catalyst made its first loan ($30,000) to a small housing developer to assist with the purchase and rehabilitation of a single family home that will be sold to a low-or moderate income family or individual (80% AMI or below). The home will feature energy-efficient appliances and HVAC systems, and other green elements such as allergen filters, an indoor water filter, maintaining trees in the backyard, energy efficient windows and use of mold-resistant materials.  Information on the use of environmentally-sensitive home cleaning products and healthy living tips will be provided to new homeowners.
